Belt Mounts

For belt mounts, pewter was extensively used, seemingly as much so as copper alloy. When designing a belt it is wise to remember the medieval love of decoration. Some fragments of belt survive from the period to show that belts were often decorated to extremes. In fact there is often very little leather showing between the mounts!

When choosing belt mounts please ensure that they will fit through the buckle aperture: Please refer to the compatibility chart.
